Abigael Bohorquez Casa de la Cultura
Named after famed Mexican poet and dramatist Abigael Bohorquez, who was born in Caborca in 1936 and died in 1995, The Casa de la Cultura (cultural house) is a civic cultural center run by the Dirección de Acción Civica y Cultural of the city of Caborca to host various cultural and civic events.
Even if there is not an exhibit or event in progress, it is worth a visit to see the incredible murals painted by famed Caborca muralist Nereo Galileo De La Peña on various walls in the complex, and to visit the art workshops of acclaimed local artists in residence.
