A serious traffic accident involving a passenger bus and a tractor-trailer occurred at kilometer 118 on the Sonoyta–Caborca highway on February 13, leaving five people dead and several others injured.
According to Protección Civil Sonora, emergency and security personnel responded immediately to the scene. Initial reports indicated four fatalities, but authorities later confirmed that a fifth person had died, bringing the total number of victims to five.
