Annual Events in Caborca
The people of Caborca like to fiesta, and the year is filled with public events to enjoy – local, regional and national festivities to watch, participate in and enjoy.
Springtime is celebrated with parades and an event that is unique to Caborca, the 6th of April fiestas that recognize a battle that occurred in Caborca in 1857.
Summertime in Caborca is extremely hot, but that does not deter the people of Caborca from enjoying a good party. This is the season when the table grapes are picked, and the town celebrates with a Festival de Uva (grape festival).
As the temperatures cool in the fall, the fiestas begin to heat up again as fiestas patrias in September celebrate Mexican Independence Day.
Winter events include the uniquely Mexican Day of the Dead and continue through the Christmas and New Year’s holiday events.
